Instagram is Alive!

A few days ago I sat at home and worked on my blog. After I did some changes, I decided to "revive" my Instagram section. The goal of this section is to show you the latest photos I took on this social network. I did the last publication on October 2013. Since, I added a gadget on the blog - where you can see the photos in the right side of the blog.
Maybe you are asking "Why does she want to 'revive' this section?". Well, yesterday I read Bella's post about #100happydays. It is a photography project where you choose the starting date and in which social network to share it. I chose Instagram. And that's the reason I'm giving this section a new life. I would like to show on this section only special projects that I'm participating in.
I think this project is a wonderful opportunity to show us how important it is to pay attention to the small details. How beautiful life can be if we focus on the small things that makes us happy.
On this post I'll show you some of my latest pictures on InstagramI hope you will join this project and I will show you my photos every 10 days (approx.)
1. Friday night after going out - 2. Taking a break at work - 3 & 4. Onion Soup and Cheese Fondue at "Voilá" Restaurant - 5. Canvas Shoes by Paez - 6. Shorts by Castro - 7. Beach - 8. Palm trees in a sunny day.

Childhood

-
As I promised you, here I am, writing about my childhood
I was born in December 21st 1989, in Argentina, that's when summer begins.
My little and only brother, Martín, was born in September 11th 1993.
We lived with our parents, Susana and Marcelo, until 1995.
-
My mother studied law and worked as a lawyer until the last years we lived together. My father, on the other hand, didn't have an established job and always used to spend the money from his salary.
When my mother found out she was pregnant with my brother, she immediately understood something was wrong. After all the exams the doctor told her that she is HIV positive. That was very shocking for her because she was married, and both my father and her were healthy people.
At the end she discovered my father cheated on her with other women. At that time no one wanted to talk about HIV. People were scared. My mother didn't want to tell her parents. But when she finally did, she very close to give birth my brother.
Mi hermano nació y mi mamá decidió no dejar a mi padre.
-
My brother was born and my mother decided she didn't want to destroy the family so she didn't left my father.
After more than a year, my mother got really sick and her situation was getting worse until July 2nd 1995 when she died.
I was 5 years old. Although I was a little girl, I still remember that I didn't need to hear from anyone what was happening, because inside I already knew it.
After my mother's death, my brother and I moved to my maternal grandparents' house. Ever since that moment, I never saw my father again.
-
I have to admit, my childhood wasn't easy. Three years after my mother died, her father - my grandfather - died too. It was very hard for me, I was only 8 years old and he was one of persons I loved the most.
When I grew up, I became like my little brother's mother. I helped my grandmother, I took the responsibility for the house and I forgot who I was, what I like and what I wanted to do with my life. The years passed and I understood that Argentina wasn't the place I wanted to spend the rest of my life in. You can say that I went to another country because I wanted to escape from the past, and maybe that's true. It is also true that I wanted to travel, to know the world and to live a different lifestyle.
I told you about my childhood very briefly, and it's because I decided to talk about the most important events in my life. Of course a lot of things happened in the middle that defined my personality and character.
Today I feel I'm a different person and as I said in other posts, I'm building myself again. Many times, even if I can't, I want to erase my past and also bring my mom back because I miss her so much. But I try very hard to live life as good as I can, doing the things I love the most. My goal in life is to be happy, to travel, to love and being loved. I know I should do it for myself but I know that inside, in my heart I'm also doing it for my mom.

Moving

Hola!!
Hello!! I really want to write the post I promised you about my childhood and I would, but I will get to it in a week or two. Maybe you are wondering why I didn't post anything these past few days - we're finally moving.
I am so tired. we didn't sleep much and we just clean and organize all day. We are working hard, but eventually we will have the home we want it to be.
The first day we cleaned the entire apartment. On the second day we moved everything from our old house, and on the third day - yesterday - we went to Ikea to buy all the furniture we needed. It's exhausting but exciting. Of course I'll show you the results.
Have a beautiful weekend!!

Building Myself

-
Lately I'm feeling the urge to tell you "my life story". I know I'm just 24 years old, but believe me when I say that a lot of things happened in my life since I was a child.
Today I'll tell you about my last 4 and a half years, and in the next post I'll write about my childhood and I'll show you some pictures I took recently.
-
In January 2010 I left Argentina, my family and my friends to move to the other side of the planet.
I spent the first half of this year learning Hebrew. At the same time I traveled across the country. It's amazing how in a small country like Israel you can find so many beautiful and different scenery and terrain.
After working with kids in a kindergarten, I started studying in a special program for a year, where you learn Hebrew, English, statistic, History, etc. I also worked in catering as a waitress, and sometimes I worked until 2 a.m and woke up the next morning at 7 a.m to go to the university. It wasn't easy and to be honest, I didn't enjoy it at all.
-
After the long year I spent studying and working, I decided I wanted a time for myself and I didn't start any career. I moved to a kibbutz where I worked in a kindergarten for two years and also put dental braces, which was and still is an important, expensive and quite painful part of my life.
In the middle of everything I met Ami, my boyfriend, my friend and one of the most important persons in my life. We are living together but in a very small place, and now we are finally moving to a bigger apartment. So we are very excited.
About half a year ago I started a new job/ I'm actually working in a company that produces all sorts of small metal products. The job is not bad but sometimes it's very hard. I have a contract for another year and then I'm free to do what ever I want. We are thinking about visit Argentina. Who knows what is going to happend until then?
-
That's it, 4 years and a half. Of course there is a lot more, relationships that didn't work out, new friends, jobs that didn't last much long, trips to Europe, etc. Everything passed very fast and I think that ever since I met Ami I'm focusing more on myself. I'm building myself. I know it takes time and sometimes I fall but little by little I'm figuring out what makes my happy and where I want to go in my life.
I wish you a wonderful week and I'm sorry for this long post.

Kimono

-
First at all I want to thank everyone who left me a comment in my last post (click here).I'm thankful for every comment about your life, advices and support. they were very important for me. I feel grateful that there are people who read my writing. It makes me very happy and motivated to continue doing things I love. I'm sure I need to change things in my life which I don't enjoy, but I don't know how to do it, yet. I know that I don't want to give up and that I will try to achieve everything I want.
-
Let's talk about this Kimono. I saw so many of them last year and I always asked myself "Will I wear it?". I was quite shocked to see the prices. everything was so expensive! This is one of the things that makes me feel frustrated when I go shopping.
A few weeks ago we went to H&M. I wanted basic t-shirts because they are very usefull and I wear them for work. After I picked up few items I liked, I went to the "SALE" section and I found some nice shorts and skirts for the summer, just for 6 dollars, and this Kimono for 12 dollars. When I wear it I feel the spring is air.
Have a beautiful weekend!

Thoughts

-
Yesterday was one of those days in which I felt a bit strange, and contemplated a lot. I was thinking all day about my life, my future, the person I am, and so on. It was a difficult day. I felt those thoughts encroaching my head and they won't go no, matter what I do.
-
This time I felt frustration. I'm already 24 years old and all what I do in life is working and writing my blog. I also don't really like my job. However, writing my blog fills me with happiness and if I had the opportunity to do it everyday It would definitely be fantastic.
What bothers me the most is the fact that I didn't start studying yet. I want to start college. There are a lot of things I'm interested in, but I'm not really sure what should I study. I want to study something which I truly like, and which gives me also the chance to work in this field. Sometimes I feel that if I don't decide and do it, It will never happen. The truth is that I'm scared and worried.

Another thing that really bothers me is that I feel "stuck" working all the time when all I want to do - beside studying - is to travel around the world. I want to meet new people, cultures and places, and I feel that now is the right time to do that because I'm still young, and later I'll be worry about my family, my house, money, and other obvious worries that most of us have.
-
Those thoughts were in my mind all day, so I decided to go for a walk and take some photos of nice things on the way.
Today, sunday, will be an interesting day. I'll play golf for the fisrt time in my life, and I'll definitely share my experience here with you.
I would like you to tell me if sometimes you also feel this way and what are the thing you do to change your day. Also, if you have any advice to give me about the studies, work and travelling issues. I know it will help me a lot.
I'm very happy to share my thoughts with you here in this blog, and I wish you a wonderful week!

Cactus

Estoy tan emocionada.
-
I'm so excited! Very soon we will move to a new apartment.
I was waiting for this moment for so long. We will have a bigger apartment than the one we lived in, and it's very important for me. It means we going to have a room for studying and a bed room that is actually separated from the living room.
The fact that we are "bulding" our own home means a lot to me. Not just because I believe we'll get closer but also because I will have my first real house - which I will be able to decorate the way I want, and feel comfortable with the place I live in.
-
Finally, I'm wearing an outfit which I feel myself in it. This is what I wore last friday, which was a sunny day.
The shorts were on sale, so as you can imagine I didn't hesitate, and took them.
I'm not always feel as "brave" as last friday. It's not easy for me to wear all the time just what I want or what I really like. I know it sounds strange but for me it's a big deal. I feel this spring and summer will help me a lot to find finally the real me, my real style.
What do you think? Do you have any tip for me?
