Trench Coat for Spring

Hola! Hoy es el último día del mes de Abril. Es increíble como los días pasan tan rápido. Se que hago este comentario bastante seguido, sin embargo de verdad siento que es así.

Estamos en Primavera, sin duda una de las épocas más bellas del año. Donde los árboles florecen, los pájaros cantan más fuerte y los días comienzan a ser más largos y más calurosos.

Hello! Today is the last day of April. It's amazing how time is passing so fast, I can't believe it. I know I'm saying it too many time, but I really feel that way.

Spring is here! One of the most beautiful seasons of the year. Trees bloom everywhere, birds sing louder and days get longer and hottest. 

Se que puede parecerles raro que esté usando este Trench en Primavera y probablemente tengan razón, aunque: A) Es la primera vez que tengo uno y estoy enamorada de él. No puedo parar de usarlo. B) Soy una persona muy friolenta, por lo que siempre necesito tener junto a mi un abrigo a todo lugar que vaya.

¿Qué les parece? ¿Qué suelen usar en Primavera?

I know it's strange that I'm wearing this Trench in Spring and you are probably right. In spite of: A) This is the first time I have that type of coat, and I really love it. I can't stop wearing it. B) I'm a person who gets cold all the time, so I must take with me a coat everywhere I go.

Haber hecho este viaje al desierto fue sin duda una idea muy acertada. Hacer un viaje de este tipo siempre resulta ser algo muy especial. Ya que nos impulsa a salir de lo cotidiano y nos muestras las maravillas que se encuentran a kilómetros de donde uno vive.

Traveling to the desert was an excellent idea. To do a trip like that always seems to be special for me. It provides you the opportunity to see things you don't see often and also shows you how beautiful nature can be.

Lista para empezar a caminar!

Llevamos dos botellas grandes de agua, frutas y emprendimos el camino. Nos tomó 2 horas y media desde el principio del recorrido hasta el final del mismo. Fue intenso, sobre todo estar al sol, sin embargo había muchos lugares con sombra donde sentarse y recargar energía.

Ready to start walking.

We took two big bottles of water and fruits and we started our way. It took us 2 hours and a half to finish, and we were very proud we did it.

It was a bit difficult, the sun was strong, and it was quite hot. However, there were plenty of places with shadow where you can sit and rest.

Las apariencias engañan! Les aseguro que aunque en la foto no lo parezca, estabamos muertos del cansancio.

Disfruté mucho de este paseo y lo que más me llamó la atención, además de lo maravillosamente bello que es el paisaje, es cómo nuestra mente juega un papel tan importante. Me explico: Estando en el medio de la nada, solos los tres, mucho calor, sin señal, poca agua pensaba "si nos pasa algo nadie se va a enterar" y a su vez pensaba "falta un montón, no se si voy a poder". Pero en el momento en el que vi los autos a lo lejos, les juro que podía haber corrido hasta el nuestro, mi cuerpo se llenó de fuerzas. Interesante, no?

Así que sí! Lo logramos!

I swear that even when you can't see it in the photo, we were so tired!

I enjoyed this trip and the thing which got my attention the most, other than the beautiful landscape, was how our mind can play with us. I'll explian myself: we were by ourselves in the middle of nowhere, it was really hot, we didn't have so much water, we didn't have cellular signal and in that moment I was thinking "if something happend no one will know and we can't ask for help". Also I was thinking that it was too hot, I'm so tired, and I don't know if I can do it". But in the moment I saw our car on the horizon, believe me I could run. I felt stronger. Interesting, right?

So, yes! We made it!

Tel Aviv

Decidimos desayunar en casa y llegar a Tel Aviv para la hora del almuerzo. Como Martín nunca había comido comida indú nos pareció buena la idea de llevarlo a Indira. Me gusta mucho este restaurante, sus porciones son pequeñas pero deliciosas por lo que hay que saber qué pedir y con qué acompañantes para que la experiencia sea aún mejor.

Luego del almuerzo dimos un paseo por la ciudad, paseamos por plazas, fuimos hasta el mercado, recorrimos las calles más grandes de la ciudad y pasamos también por Azrieli Center, uno de los shoppings de Tel Aviv.

We atr breakfast at home and travel to Tel Aviv for lunch. We decided to take Martín to Indira - an indian restaurant - because he never had an indian meal before. I like this restaurant - the dishes are small, but the food is delicious.

After lunch we strolled around the city.We went to the city's main marketplace, walked through the main streets and avenues in the city and also visited Azrieli Center for some shopping.

Caminamos tanto que los pies nos dolían mucho y ya no podíamos más.

Cenamos en Wolfnights Chef Burguer. Nunca habíamos comido allí y salimos muy satisfechos del lugar y de la comida. La hamburguesa vegetariana vine con pesto untado en el pan, en mi opinión sería mucho más rica sin este agregado.

Para el postre quise llevar a Martín a Max Brener, si no conocen este restaurante-chocolatería sepán que se encuentra en otros países y que es delicioso.

Pedimos una tabla de degustaciones que trae waffle belga, crepps, crepe, fondue de chocolate, helado, galletas, mini volcán de chocolate y un bowl con frutas y malvaviscos para derretirlos y untarlos en la fondue. Una delicia!

We walked for hours until our legs hurted.

We ate dinner at Wolfnights Chef Burger. It's the first time we eat in this burger place, and we finished our meals very happy. I must say though that I didn't like they added pesto in the vegetarian hamburger's bread.

Nothing better for dessert than Max Brener. If you don't know this restaurant and chocolaterie, you should definitely try it. They have braches in few other countries like Japan, USA, Russia and Australia.

Martín and I ordered a tasting menu with belgian waffle, crepe, chocolate fondue, ice cream, cookies, mini chocolate lava cake and a bowl with fruits and marshmallows. So delicious!   

No quiero que estas vacaciones se terminen. Disfruto mucho poder manejar mis tiempos y poder hacer las cosas que más me gustan cada día.
